I was introduced to DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) during the summer of 2019 by a friend, Ken, KC9QV. Prior to this, I dabbled in Yaesu Fusion with a Yaesu DR-1X repeater and a Yaesu FT1D held-held transceiver. During the summer of 2020, I will be installing my first DMR repeater, which will be placed in Marquette County in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
